Get ready for an unforgettable week of sports and sun in the heart of the Aegean! Join us in Chania, Crete for a unique fusion of Rugby Sevens, Beach Rugby, and Beach Volleyball — all set against the backdrop of one of the most stunning beach destinations in Europe.
Rugby
Sixteen (16) Men's teams and eight (8) Women's teams will compete for the title of Rugby 7's Aegean Winner. Any of these teams that wish to participate can also compete for the Beach Rugby title! Expect a weekend packed with high-energy matches and epic seaside vibes.
Beach Volley
From 28–29 May, elite coaches Anna Koumwaki and Noah Kimble will lead a two-day Beach Volleyball Camp, focusing on:
- Passing (Day One – Morning)
- Attacking & Poke (Day One – Afternoon)
- Defencing (Day Two – Morning)
- Service (Day Two – Afternoon)
The camp leads directly into a competitive Beach Volley Tournament from 30–31 May, where players of all levels can showcase their skills.

Are there different levels for the teams that compete?
All the teams will compete at the same level in different divisions (Men's / Women's).

What if one member of the team is unable to come to the event a few days before?
A member of the team can be replaced by someone else up to one (1) day before the event

What will the weather be like during the “The Aegean Rugby 7's & Beach Festival 2026” week?
The weather in June is mostly sunny and the temperature can range from 23 to 31 Celcius during the daytime and 21-27 Celcius during the nighttime.
